More pictures of the monument...what I didn't capture was the old lady trying to sell me some fake roses for Suzanne. After saying no at least three times, the nice old lady proceeded to stuff the roses into my strap for my backpack and tell me I owed her 5 yuan...I literally had to put the roses on the ground and continued on...

Poor Suzanne! She's probably never had a guy take such measure to avoid buying her flowers before!
Interesting sales technique-- imagine how it would go over in the US!
