The next stop after lunch consisted of a tour of the old city of Gaoyou and especially the post office. I'll admit now after the fact that this location was probably the quietest and most serene setting. There was no traffic, honking cars and bicyclist. Only a few here and there compared to the busy craziness that surrounds the streets.
Anyway, quite beautiful. Also, today was the first day that the sun shone through the haze and we had crystal clear blue sky.
