Day Six - Nanchang

And finally Day Six and arrival at the Nanchang airport. Of course, guide is their but driver is late, so plenty of time to mill around in the airport parking lot and take photos...anyway, the one photo from the car is from the August 1st bridge. August 1st seems to be an important date as it was the beginning of the uprising in Nanchang. Of course, when pressed as to what uprising and its particulars, we didn't get much of an answer, so for now, this bridge is important to the city and its people due to it being the August 1st bridge. And that is the rest of the story....

Oh yeah, as previously blogged, we found out in the car ride to the hotel that we would be receiving my new niece later that afternoon. This was a suprise as Jen was told that it would be the next day. This of course threw the plan for the day of rest/relax/prepare out the window and instead put into place preparation for adoption which for me included videotaping duties.
