Backstory: Lian Mei Jukanovich was adopted a little over three years ago by Jen and Dano. She is now 4 and 1/2 years old and is as beautiful as ever. As part of this trip, Jen and Dano wanted to return to where Lian's orphanage. During the previous adoption, the agency (I don't know the right term...) drove to Nanjing and the adoption processes took place there. So, today was Jen/Dano/Lian's first visit back to where Lian spent the first 11 months before joining the Jukanovich family.
I was initial placed on video duty so I wasn't taking a lot of photos, however, our resident driver/Gambie consultant, who videotapes weddings for a living grabbed the camera after I shut it off at the request of the orphanage, needless to say, he started videotaping and they didn't say anything. So, tape of the day belongs to Jen and Dano.
Anway, the day started with a meet and greet with the director of the orphanage and the vice mayor of Gaoyou. Dark shirt on the right is the director, and Tan shirt is the Vice Mayor.
